Privacy Policy

MacClip is built to keep your data on your Mac. This policy explains the little we do collect and why.

The MacClip app

• Your clipboard history is stored only on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/MacClip. It is never uploaded.
• The app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
• The only network requests the app makes are to activate, validate or deactivate your license. These send your license key, an anonymous device identifier (a one-way hash of your Mac’s hardware ID), your Mac’s name and the app version.

Purchases

• We store your email address, order details and license activation status so we can deliver and support your license.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details.
• License emails are sent through our email host, Hostinger.

Your choices

To access or delete your purchase data, email support@macclip.app. Deleting your data deactivates your license.
